DrivenByDrams Arran & Glasgow Tour - Day 4a (Glasgow Distillery)

Day 4 was an early start, a cooked breakfast and off to @GlasgowDC

Glasgow Distillery is based in a small industrial unit to the South West of the city, it's not normally open to the public but if you speak to the right people...

We were joined for this tour by Damian & Cliff!

They have a beautiful Tasting Room where Libby shared a breakfast dram!

We then went into the distillery

We got to try some fresh new make spirit

Whilst Libby told us all about the distillery

Then into the warehouse

Where we visited their small cooperage

We were then offered samples from 3 casks:

A little look around the warehouse revealed some secrets:

Cask 1,000 of 2024 had been filed that day - as you can see it was Triple Distilled Spirit.

Libby does enjoy her job!

Then it was back into the tasting Room for a few more samples.

Opportunity to try unpeated, triple distilled and peated versions of the Tokaji finishes.

A huge thanks to Libby & Seb for a brilliant tour! Then be Ubered over to Loch Lomond! Link
