 Another Thursday night and it was another @SouthportWhisky lockdown virtual tasting!.

This time is was with a section of bourbon and rye from some new USA distilleries.

Side by side : Mid ABV Ryes

Over the last few months I've been enjoying more and more Ryes, I've bought a few bottles and swapped a few samples so am looking at three lower, three mid range and three higher ABV Ryes over three blogs.

In this blog I'm trying 3 at the mid level of the ABV range, lower range blog here, but higher ones are to follow!

#MiniTasting - Rye Night

The #MiniTasting gang have discovered some interesting Rye on their whisky adventure - New York Distilling's Ragtime Rye was amazing so we've decided to explore the category a little more. We clubbed together to buy a consortium bottle of New Riff's Rye and paired it with a Knob Creek which @ScotchB78 picked up last year in the USA. Let's see what they are like!
