@SouthportWhisky club founder Victor Porter @onekv regularly releases Indie bottles with his own distinct labels designed by the maestro @jwbassman_.


But I think @uk_whisky Peter Hunt from the club chose the latest 3 single cask  releases and sent me samples to try!

Loch Lomond CWY

My favourite kind of whisky from @LochLomondMalts is from their Straight Necked Pot Stills, when it's fermented with Chardonnay Wine Yeast (CWY) it ticks all of my boxes!


Aqvavitae has just released anther pair of bottles, lets try them!

Established in 2022, @MaltRare1494 Saltire Rare Malt Whisky Company are a new Independent Bottler out of Falkland in Fife.


Their first trio of releases include Glen Moray, Aultmore and Tamnavulin bottlings.

Side by side : Aldi's 3 NAS Glen Marnochs

As some of you may know I've given up buying whisky... well whisky under 46% ABV anyway! These 3 samples found their way into my Christmas Stocking and have been sat on the whisky shelf 'looking' at me for a few weeks...

Braeval Distillery is very under the radar, a workhorse producing blending stock for Chivas Brothers.


There are no distillery bottlings but indie releases are fairly easy to get hold of.
