Virtual tasting: Dingle Single Malt Batch 6 Tasting

After 8 years Dingle Distillery have released their first core bottling - followed quickly by the final release in it's Single Malt Batch Series - Batch 6

Just over 8 years old and releasing their first core bottling - Dingle Distillery in Ireland have come a long way in a short period of time.

World Problem Polls (#DingleDilemma)

Once upon a time there was a small distillery in Speyside distilling some lovely whisky which went by the same Glen Moray. In 2019 their Master Distiller decided he was working too hard and needed a change.... he retired to the west coast of Ireland.

His equally hard working wife took the job of Master Distiller at a nearby distillery by the name of Dingle.

The Black Country Whisky Society have held a number of successful virtual tastings during Covid-19, this is the third one I've join in with.

This time is was to try a new distillery for me : Dingle in Ireland.

End of an era? - Glen Moray

I first heard the news back in July, but it wasn't made public until August, @Graham__Coull and @Fay_Coull would be leaving @GlenMorayDist and travelling across the Irish Sea to @DingleWhiskey

Just in case you aren't aware Graham has been Master Distiller at Glen Moray for 14 years, only their fifth Master Distiller.
