The DrivenByDrams gang's Speyside Tour was over and it was time to go home, but first a detour - further up the A9 to @Tomatin1897
We didn't have time for a tour but had planned a quick visit to the Distillery Shop and a look at their Bottle Your Owns!
Just off the A9 is the Highland distillery of Tomatin
Our distillery group photo!
We were met by Martin who told us a little about the distillery and offered us some of their excellent drams!
An amazing selection of drams were tried including 2011 12yo Single Cask #2265, 2010 13yo Single Cask #37857, 2010 12yo Marsala Finish, 2017 5yo Single Cask #3002, Distillery Archive Exclusive, 36yo and the Cù Bòcan 15yo 2023 release!
Huge thanks to Martin for hosting us, we'll be back for a full tour soon!
So then it was time for a final group photo and the long road home...
A huge thanks to John @jwbassman_, Andy @andy_watkinson, Max @mgilberties and Mark @mentaldrams for a fantastic week and to all of the distilleries and tour guides who showed us round and shared their drams!
The planning now starts for next year!
