This was a blind sample from @Maltman_Mike which turned out to be a Cadenhead Port Dundas
In the glass: pale gold, gravity defying swirls (high ABV?), initial nose vanilla. This had a lot in common with the previous sample from Arran
Nose: Vanilla custard over poached pears, some dunnage warehouse notes develop after a little while in the glass.
Palate: Brandy butter! Some vanilla and ginger spice.
It turned out to be a Cadenhead Port Dundas 29yo single grain at 50.7% - yummy!
