Mini-review: Walsh's The Irishman Single Malt

An Single Malt matured in ex-bourbon and Oloroso Sherry Casks from Walsh Whiskey called The Irishman!

In the glass: Yellow gold, 40%, swirls bead up and lead to thin slow legs.

Nose: Orchard fruit, honey, a slight acetone note. There's a hint or orange in there too.

Palate: Smooth sweet honey coats the tongue, there's some of the fruit notes from the nose, some nuttiness and a dryness like shortbread as the whiskey leaves your tongue.

Finish: Medium length, spicy with some honey and woody notes.

Overall: A nice dram, could be from the Walsh distillery but probably sourced from Bushmills - I could be wrong!
