Each year our little gang gets permission from our wives for a few days away. This year, delayed by two due to Covid, we managed to get to Islay!

Famous for it's blends Dew of Ben Nevis and Macdonalds of Glencoe there are some single malt releases.

The Glasgow Distillery Company @GlasgowDC has been bottling whisky for 4 years now and some of their early experiments are starting to be released.

Small batches featuring Tequila and Cognac Cask finishes were released in August.

@ArmorikWhisky is the brand name of single malts from Warenghem distillery in Brittany, Northern France.

Thanks to a sample swap with some European mates I was able to try four of the range.
