@SpearheadWhisky was released as a new brand this month but study the label and you'll see it's a new addition to the @LochLomondMalts range.

Whisky 'machinery' - the Washback

Continuing the series looking at some of the 'machinery' used in a distillery to create whisky - this time the Washback or fermenting vessel.

I've covered the basic process of creating whisky here, but I'm going to explore the machinery a little more in this series.

Duncan Taylor An Iconic Speyside Octave

Established in 1938, Duncan Taylor is an independent whisky merchant with one of the largest privately held collections of aged single malt and single grain Scotch whisky casks.

The third release of the @LakesDistillery Whiskymaker's Editions series was a @MasterOfMalt limited edition.

It goes by the name of Miramar, but has very little other information, let see what it's like...

An unassuming little distillery in an unassuming little town north of Perth as you enter the Highlands is the home of Bells - one of the biggest selling blends in the world.

You don't see many distillery bottlings but there are quite a few indies - here I'll try 3 single casks.
