So first up was my A12.....

All of us were picking up orchard fruits on the nose!

Wings was straight in with a guess.....

and he was right!

Next up was B12 from John, could we guess this one as quickly?

One of Grimm's pet hates, alone with bananas!

We were struggling with ABV on this one - John had said Cask Strength but we just weren't getting that from the dram....

We finally got there!

Mike thought it was one of John's SMWS purchases...

Grimm had already finished his sample!

Alistair and I were on to regions and distilleries...

Paul, who was following us on twitter had already made his mind up!

We got the distillery!

But Alistair wasn't sure it was a distillery bottling...

John summarised what we knew so far!

WOW - crazy price....

John finally revealed it was from Bartels. A beautiful whisky, beautifully presented but the price is just way too high.

We'd had a few cracks prior to the session that C12 and B12 looked identical and this carried on into the tasting!

Beautiful nose on this one too!

Grimm was getting sulphur...

John was straight in with a guess...

....and he got it!

We got the ABV....

...which took us back to the Bunna....

Alistair revealed it as a 1995 GlenDronach

Fourth dram of the night was Grimm's D12

This was a gentler sherried dram...

But there was something else in there too...

We were liking this one!

And Wings was on form again!

As was Alistair!

In fact he was well ahead of the rest of us!

On to the final dram of the evening, and of the series!

Once again an evening with out peat....

Some tropical notes!

John was off on his travels - choo choo.....

E12 might not have any smoke but it was a delicious dram!

Alistair started the guessing...

Then John joined in...

Due to a late start it was now approaching midnight so Mike put us out of our misery!

So that was the end of the evening and the end of Series 4 of #BlindTasting!

As usual many thanks to Mike, Alistair, John & Grimm for a great night and some great whiskies!
