Noble Rebel Three Blended Malts

@LochLomondMalts have always been a little different, experimental you might say: straight neck pot stills, use of refill casks to let the spirit character shine through, barley through continuous stills etc.

Last year they released @SpearheadWhisky, a single grain barley distilled in a continuous still, this year they've released three blended malts under the banner @NobleRebelMalts.

Virtual tasting : Laphroaig with NEWAS

The North East Whisky Appreciate Society @eastwhisky is a great little group based in the north east of England who organise regular virtual tastings, this one featured @Laphroaig

The tasting was hosted by Caroline the Assistant Visitor Centre Manager at Laphroaig.

Na Bràithrean [na brah-rin] means “the brothers” in Scottish Gaelic. These indie bottlers pick a cask, give each a different finish and release the pair as Wee Brother and Big Brother.

@LochLomondMalts single casks bottlings are quite difficult to find, especially in the UK, last year I think we've seen less than five. Thanks to a mate in Germany I've managed to get my hands on another two!

Loch Lomond Swan Neck distilled single casks are even rarer - both of these are Swan Neck Pot Still distillations!
