Newer Distilleries 10 : Raasay

This is the tenth in an occasional series about newer distilleries, this entry is about the Isle of Raasay Distillery.

Side by side : A Talisker flight

Until 2017 Talisker was the only distillery on the Isle of Skye, built in 1830 it's now one of Diageo's workhorses. 

Here I'll try five different bottlings.

Whisky from...? Sweden 3

If you start thinking about Swedish whisky it's usually Mackmyra that comes to mind first but there are a number of other distilleries - the most well known is probably High Coast (formerly known as Box before Compass Box got their lawyers involved).

They are still producing some great whisky in northern Sweden.

A dram I recommend to everyone I talk to yet one I haven't actually reviewed yet! Now to put that right a straight side by side against it's elder brother.....
