Mini-reviews: first but not last!

This was a sample swap from @HoleyWhisk of Deanston's 12yo




Nose: fresh cut grass, vanilla, honey, some citrus.

Palate: golden syrup, oaky spiced orange, slightly drying.

Finish: dry, spicy with a hint of smoke?

Notes: interestingly the first Deanston dram I've had but certainly not the last! The ABV is a little unusual but anything above 43% is good in my book - this one hides it well though!
